NDIS Rehabilitation Counselling
Your Partner in Empowerment and Renewal
Build capacity, confidence and direction
Strengths-based rehabilitation counselling to support adjustment to injury/illness, mental wellbeing, and readiness for community, study, volunteering or work (when appropriate). RC is an allied-health discipline recognised for vocational assessment, goal-setting and psychosocial intervention.
What we help with
We provide comprehensive support to help you succeed in managing change, building self-confidence, and achieving your personal goals. Our tailored programs focus on creating clear pathways, supporting community participation, and overcoming barriers through problem-solving and support networks. We work collaboratively with your healthcare team, including GPs and support workers, to ensure a holistic approach to your wellbeing and progress. Our aim is to empower you to live independently and reach your full potential with confidence.
- Adjustment, self-confidence and self-management
- Values-based goal-setting and roadmaps
- Community, study or work readiness (graded steps)
- Barriers/problem-solving and building support networks
How we work
We create clear, measurable goals focused on your psychosocial wellbeing. Our strategies are practical and brief, complemented by tasks you can do between sessions. We support gradual involvement in meaningful roles and activities to build confidence and capability. Communication is straightforward, with plain-English updates shared as agreed. When therapy concludes, we ensure a seamless handover to ongoing supports to maintain your progress and wellbeing.

Typical goals (story-style)
Rebuild weekly structure—three planned activities (walk, call a friend, community visit) to reduce isolation.
Test a low-pressure volunteer role two hours a week to practise attendance, pacing and communication.
Create a personal roadmap for returning to study/work when ready, listing supports and red-flags.
Use a simple coping plan for high-stress moments: who to contact, what to do first, how to reset.
